FSC Slapton Ley with SHAW pleased to announce Wellbeing Programme

FSC Slapton Ley, in conjunction with SHAW, are pleased to announce a free 10 week Wellbeing Programme, starting at the end of September 2020.

Run over 10 weeks in 2 hour sessions the programme is open to those who would like to focus on their wellbeing by re-connecting with nature in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Iron Man Challenge – a tale of three trustees and their determination!

On Sunday July 26th, 3 SHAW trustees; Andy, John and James undertook the Iron Man Challenge in aid of The Royal Marines Charity. You can read an update on the day’s events here.

A great day for all involved, which has raised over £12,000 to date for this worthwhile cause.

SHAW Implementation Report

This report includes findings taken from the start of South Hams Area Wellbeing (SHAW) social prescribing scheme going operational with community connectors (link workers) from February 2019 to December 2019. It also includes recommendations for optimizing the implementation of social prescribing schemes.
